I have often found myself exploring that issue and throwing about ideas (in my head) around how the other two could legitimately pose a challenge to Econet's dominance locally. Without going too deep into the obvious issues around their shareholding structures, I have toyed with the idea of the red company being bought out by a player such as Airtel - imagine an Airtel Zimbabwe? I feel that might actually shake Econet's table; that's a business war I would buy front-row seats to.
